Description
February 14, 2012. This is St. Mary-Corwin Hospital, Pueblo, Colorado. Hospitals are places that are full of drama and life and death issues for loved ones, family members, and even strangers, on an everyday basis. Yet, there is nothing more tiring than visiting someone in a hospital...I immediately want to go to sleep. In this blended set of photographs, I wanted to show the drama. After all, we are all likely to die in one of these buildings since we as a culture are all so detached from the idea that death is a natural process and will happen no matter where we are, with loved ones or without, and those dearest to us may be awake or asleep.
