Description
This artwork originated with a photograph in Wyoming by my sister, FAA artist, Dawn Senior-Trask. I reworked the original panoramic scene in several software programs to create this image.

Open land now, but what are we giving up? Living breathing trees that use our carbon exchange, shade our earth and keep the soil in place. Consider this painting for entering in thought provoking nature exhibitions, Lenore. L/f

What an exquisite interpretation, especially moving because we know that some of the junipers in our part of WY are undergoing selective thinning by the BLM. Not these particular trees in this photo, but some nearby. Luckily, junipers thrive and are spreaders, so in spite the efforts to contain them, in 100 years some areas like this will be covered with dense juniper forests. Some parts of the planet are not so lucky, and this gorgeous vision is such bittersweet solace for people who have lost the wild wisdom and splendor and comfort of trees. Magnificent work! fav
