Great creativity in this image, Lenore. Can imagine the process you went through to achieve it. One of my PODs in the group Minimalism in Photography. v/G+

as a cat lover and caretaker for my 18 year old, chronically ill, now failing cat this image brought tears to my eyes. v/f and POD for the Minimalism group.

Lenore, I enjoyed my visit to your " less is more" minimal gallery! Such a fantastic portfolio of works. This piece is awesome and yanked at my heart! Both of my kitties were strays that found their way to my home and we happily adopted them. It is so great how you brought awareness to this subject with the title of this piece! The artwork itself is ingenious in regards to the conception of it and how you transformed the circle shape of the moon into this image! Love that! V/F!

This is a powerful work, Lenore. We all have to take responsibility for these cats - they are our responsibility! We have to pick up the ball where it was dropped and run foward. Thank you for this piece. This picture is worth a thousand words. Lonliness - the butterfly effects of disregard, irreverence, and hard heartedness. Every community should have a sanctuary for these animals - and every community should join together to care for them. We can put an end to this - and to overcrowded shelters.

Lenore, I never saw this work of yours till now. It is simply brilliant, so minimalist, but so impactful.... a masterpiece, in my opinion. The use of the negative space is just fantastic, symbolising the huge lonelyness of that poor cat. Love this work.... voted for it in the contest, even I'm in the same contest. F,v. ______ Ana

How sad! I love the minimalism in this piece - how you created a cat using three simple shapes - the whole is definitely more than the sum of it parts...
