Description
This image is part of my Redefining the American Dream series. My sister, Dawn Senior-Trask (FAA), sent me a photograph some time ago of "Pesky," a mother deer. This is how I've chosen to re-work the image in P/S E8.

An exceptionally powerful image Lenore. Love the composition of this shot. Do wish you luck with getting the message out there. F/V

Wow, what a poignant and powerful wake-up call to all humans on the planet! The wildlife is going to fade away and vanish if we don't act now. Even in the wilds of Wyoming, the least populated state in the nation, deer, elk and pronghorn populations are diminishing. Every action we take -- grubbing out that patch of sagebrush, building a fence, diverting a rivulet, paving a road -- impacts the survival of all other beings in our world. All the individual people I know love the wild animals and realize that we can't survive without an intact ecosystem. And yet, somehow, collectively, we keep pushing them further and further toward the brink.
