What a wonderful tribute to the Mule Deer! She seems to have a spot of blood on one ear and another on the side of her face -- maybe from hanging out with Wanderer, who had just shed his antlers, which bled a little. Or maybe she got into a fray with another doe over food. She looks like the young doe we call Watcher because she's always on the alert and holds her ears out to the side like this. The colors, textures and effects you acheived here bring out her character and rough beauty!
