Description
This is the shortest line at the courthouse to renew my vehicle license I've ever encountered in 25 years here. I was fascinated by the 1883 mural at the back and incorporated it into the modern scene.

By my own choice, I removed this image from the contest as it is digitally changed and not a straight photo, as the contest rules required. I believe in following contest guidelines

Beautifully done! What an interesting and appealing journey through time. The ghosts of the past are always with us, whether we realize it or not. Most of us don't -- again you see the extraordinary amidst the "routine" of daily chores.

Lenore, another wonderful example of looking past obvious images to create a new panoply of images and imagination for the world to consider...great art...
