Description
1950's - Sheep in the Fold is taken from 8 mm movie film shot by Willoughby Senior during his 30 year relationship with the Navajo and Hopi people. For the Navajo, sheep are well taken care of an are a staple in their diets, during which every part of the sheep is utilized, even to drinking the blood. Nothing is wasted. My sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, has gone with herders on their wanderings with the sheep from time to time. This work was processed by Senior's other daughter, Lenore Senior.
