Description
This photo is dedicated to Sharon Burger, FAA fine artist, for her courage in breaking free. This image is part of a series, the title of which comes from a combination of the word "subconscious" and the Bob Dylan song "Subterranean Homesick Blues." The subject matter is all basically the same but there will be different treatments to create different moods.

Sunburst -- from the center of darkness bursts the ray of light, hope and life. The cosmic scope of this image, with its patterns of glowing ember and burnt charcoal, is gorgeous, exciting and deeply resonant.

Sorry, Dawn, it looks like I was replying to you when I was actually replying to Sharon Burger!
