Lenore Senior has been collaborating with FAA artist, Constance Widen on photographs she took around the world years ago. The photos have faded and have poor quality. Widen has been sending them to Senior for re-working and enlivening with Photoshop Elements 8 and 9. One such photograph won second place recently in a contest entitled "Nautical Boats," sponsored by the group Blank Greeting Cards on Fine Art America. There were 492 entries in the contest. The photo entered by the duo is entitled "Boats," and is from the Isle of Man.

Lenore Senior has been chosen as a member of the board for the Auto-didactic Art Association started on Fine Art America by Ante Barisic (Croatia). As a board member, Senior will be the Advisor for Art Photography and Administrator for AAA on Facebook. The group is envisioned as an international art association for self-taught artists and photographers.

Lenore Senior won Second Place in the "Dreams Expressed As Art" contest hosted by Fine Art America. She won with her digitally blended photograph which was originally taken by her sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, and worked with in Photoshop Elements 8 entitled, "Dreaming of Wyoming." Senior is pleased with her placement out of 175 images submitted to the contest and voted on by FAA members.

Petko Pemaro, an internationally well-known Bulgarian artist, created a video of Lenore Senior's photographs and digital artwork. It can be seen on YouTube where the artworks by Senior are shown with accompanying music. Senior is very pleased with Pemaro's beautiful gift and feels blessed to have been chosen for this honor.

Lenore Senior won Second Place in a contest sponsored by Fine Art America group "Avantgarde Art" with her digital photograph entitled "Color Curve." There were 194 entries in the contest voted on by FAA members. As a result, the contest administrator, Li van Saathoff, of Germany has featured the winners on a number of sites:

Lenore Senior's oil painting entitled, "Man in a Box," was chosen by Dennis Morrow, M.A.Ed., MBA for his new CD and promotional materials to be distributed to schools, counselors, non-profits, etc. entitled "The MaleBox." Morrow has been the Executive Director of Janus Youth Programs, Inc. since 1980. He is also an adjunct assistant professor at Portland State University and an instructor at Portland Community College. He has been involved in developing counselor and parent training programs for over 30 years. Senior is extremely honored to be chosen for this special presentation about the counseling of men and boys in our society. Lenore Senior took first place in the "Something from the Screen" contest hosted by Fine Art America. The contest asked participants to take photographs of something from television and convert it into their own work. Senior's image was entitled "Howard Hughes from the Screen," which she then digitally altered. This was a small contest with 42 entries.

Fine Art America sponsors contests, along with Facebook, that offer a cash coupon toward the purchase of any artworks on FAA. One such contest was "In the Year 3000." Lenore Senior won second place in the contest with her futuristic, "3011 - All Dissolving into Computer Chips." Senior is very pleased with this win, which was voted on by FAA members. There were 129 entries in the contest. Senior's entry was created specifically to fit the guidelines of this contest and the winning amount is $75.00.

A photograph taken by Wanda Brandon and cropped by Lenore Senior won 1st Place in the "Photograph Featuring a Flower" contest hosted by FAA. The cropping added an abstract dimension to the work entitled "Wanda's Yellow Delight." The photo won out of 359 entries in the contest. Lenore is pleased with the win and often collaborates with other artists.

Lenore Senior and Dawn Senior-Trask took 2nd place honors in the "Mystical Digital" contest hosted on FAA with a digital photograph entitled, "A Life Story." Dawn took the original photograph that was then modified in Photoshop Elements 8 into the final product by Lenore. There were 160 entries in the contest which was voted on by fellow artists from FAA.

Lenore Senior tied for first place in the "Vintage Flavored Places in Your Town" hosted by Fine Art America. All the pieces of photography were from her current home in Pueblo, Colorado. The three winners were: "Wagon Wheel," "Pueblo Downtown Collectibles," and "Wagon Wheels." There were 165 entries in the contest.

Lenore Senior won 1st and 2nd places in the "Art that Supports the Occupy Movement" hosted by Fine Art America. All pieces are digital photographs from her Reinventing the American Dream Series. The 1st place winner was "Government Bailouts for the Poor," with second place going to "Redefining the American Dream" and "The White Picket Fence Is Broken." There were 60 entries in the contest which was judged by fellow artists on FAA.

Lenore Senior shared 1st place in the "Give Me Allegories" contest hosted by Fine Art America for two works. The first is a digital art piece entitled "Hooded Figures" and the second is a digital photograph entitled "Moon River." There were 434 entries in the contest which was voted on by artists from FAA.

Lenore Senior won 1st Place in the "Cool Things in Your Town" contest hosted by Fine Art America with her digital photograph entitled "Mural Variation 2". She also shared 2nd place honors with other artists for her digital photograph "Secret Garden". There were 434 images in the contest which was voted on by members of FAA.

Lenore Senior won 1st Place in the "Street Art" contest hosted by Fine Art America with her digital photograph entitled "Mural Variation 2". This street art can be found at the corner of Northern and Evans Avenues, Pueblo, Colorado. The colors were changed to create the artwork. There were 132 entries in the contest, which was voted on by FAA artists.

Lenore Senior won 1st and 2nd Place honors in the "September 11" contest hosted by Fine Art America. The winners were digital artworks entitled "9-11 In Memory 2" and "9-11 In Memory," respectively. Both were created by using layering of 4 to 5 different photographs to achieve the desired effects. There were 67 entries in the contest. The 1st place winner will be on a front book cover and the 2nd place artwork will be on the back of the same book cover produced by Scott Rhoads, contest administrator.

"The Veteran," a photograph by Lenore Senior tied for 1st place in the Old Masters group contest hosted by Fine Art America. The contest theme was "Art with a Social or Environmental Message," and there were 157 entries in the contest. Because Senior is the facilitator for Old Masters, she gave up her placement and awarded the high honors to the other two highest voting images.

Lenore Senior won 1st place in a contest sponsored by the Old MASTERS group of Fine Art America with the theme, "Art with a Social or Environmental Message," for her acrylic painting, "America's History of Black & White Thinking." Senior also won 3rd place in the same contest for her oil painting, "Man in a Box." Senior is better known for her photography and digital art so is pleased with the results of the contest in which there were 138 entries.

Lenore Senior and Angela L. Walker collaborated on a photograph entitled "Electric Sky" to take 2nd Place in the Cloudy Days contest hosted by Fine Art America. Walker took the original photo in Arizona during a recent vacation and Senior enhanced it using Photoshop Elements 8. There were 767 entries in the contest.

The photo was taken from a moving car in March, 2011, after visiting Wyoming siblings to commemorate the one year anniversary of their mother's death. There were 145 entries in the contest.

Lenore Senior tied for 1st place in the "Still Life Challenge - Winter Season" contest hosted by Fine Art America with her photograph entitled, "Cats". This was the first in a series of photographs and digital artworks in honor of her cat, Anise, who was over 20 and dying at the time the photograph was originally taken. Lenore Senior tied for 1st place in the "Gautam Sharma" contest hosted by Fine Art America with her digital artwork entitled, "Urban Landscape." Lenore was pleased with the win because this particular artwork is one of her personal favorites. Lenore's sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, also tied for honors with her painting, "The Old Ranch Gate."

Lenore Senior and her sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, tied for 1st Place in the "Time Machine" contest hosted by Fine Art America. There were 467 entries in the contest. Lenore's photograph entitled "Outdoor Fireplace," took the prize along with Dawn's painting, "Cattle Drive" from the Historical Vignette from her large River Mural commissioned by the Wyoming Arts Council and residing at the Saratoga (WY) Historical Museum.

Lenore Senior won 1st Place in the "Optical Illusions" contest with an artwork from her "Alternate Reality Series" of mostly photographs. The winning photo was digitally altered and entitled "Photographer 3." The contest had 73 entries of excellent images so Lenore is very pleased with the 1st place showing. The contest was hosted by Fine Art America and only members of FAA were allowed to vote in this contest.

Lenore Senior had two entries tying for 2nd place in the "Myth and Legend" contest hosted by Fine Art America. The computer designed her digital artwork entitled "Hoop Dancers" in 2nd place and "St. Francis in the Garden" in 3rd Place. There were 590 entries in the contest. Lenore's sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, also had the same number of votes for "Casting the Stones," a black and white artwork.

Lenore Senior won 1st and 2nd place in the "Off Guard" photography contest hosted by Fine Art America. There were 166 entries in the contest. The top prize went to "Peeking in Store Window" and 2nd place was garnered for her photo of "The Barber." The contest featured photos of people who didn't know they were being photographed.

Lenore Senior won first place in the "Limitless Imagination" contest hosted by Fine Art America. Lenore entered 10 pieces of digital art and won with "The Swan," but also, came in (tied) with 2nd place with the rest of her pieces she entered, including "Standing on Magical Mountains," "Waiting to Exhale," "The Butterfly Effect," "Make a Wish," etc. Voting was by FAA members only and there were 856 entries.

Out of 765 entries in the "Reflections" Contest sponsored by Fine Art America, Lenore Senior took 2nd Place with her digital artwork entitled, "Triangle Lake." The votes were cast by FAA members. Lenore's sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, took 3rd Place in the same contest with an oil painting of Lenore done entitled, "Portrait by the Stream."

Lenore Senior won 2nd Place in the Photography Contest for Landscapes, etc. with her photograph entitled "Majesty." Hers was one of 347 entries in the contest sponsored by Fine Art America and voted upon by its members. As a result of her placement in the contest, she will be asked to be a juror on the next contest sponsored by the same administrator. Lenore spotted this shot one late afternoon while driving to her office for work.

There were 197 images entered in the contest and voting was limited to FAA members. Lenore also won 3rd place for her painting/digital artwork entitled "Primitive Paradise".

Lenore Senior won first and third place in a Fine Art America contest with her digital art pieces, "Deep Sea Divers" and "Fingerpainting," respectively. It was a small contest in numbers, but was sponsored by a group called Angels ID to raise funds and awareness for children's diabetes. Artists who belong to this group will donate a percentage of designated sales of artwork to Angels ID. Lenore chose artworks to enter which she felt would be especially appreciated by children for their fun, colors, or whimsy.

Out of 204 entries, Lenore Senior took first and third place in the Fine Art America "Humor" contest. She won for her digital artwork entitled, "Loose Goose" and took 3rd place for "Looks Like a Steer in the Headlights." Lenore states, "This was a fun contest! I love to see the humor in things. There were some very special entries and it was a close race until the end, so I feel honored."

Lenore Senior won 1st place in Fine Art America's "People in Photographs" Contest with her photo entitled, "Well, Are You Coming?" It was a close race, with 255 entries. This is the fifth FFA contest Lenore has placed in since November 7, 2010, and she is very honored with the results. Lenore has returned to photography after 20+ years and just in the last 2-3 months has become very involved in the digital art process.

Lenore Senior placed second in a Fine Art America contest called "Trees and/or Branches without Leaves" for her artwork entitled, "November". There were 459 entries. Lenore is pleased to have placed so well in a contest filled with top quality art and photographs. Another of her digital artworks entitled "Arteries of Trees" placed fourth in the competition, while sister, Dawn Senior-Trask, and friend, Judith Redman, tied with several artworks for 5th place, along with another of Lenore's photos, "Birds and Trees".

Lenore Senior won 3rd place in the "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" Contest sponsored by Fine Art America by a last minute tied vote for her artwork entitled, "Winter Window." Lenore's work was ultimately chosen by the contest leader to receive the 3rd place spot. There were 122 entries of paintings and photographs entered in this contest. Lenore is pleased with her placement and honored to be a finisher among so many fine artworks.
