Lovely minimalist abstract of autumn by the lake. One single solitary tree representing the season sits beside the lake with it's leaves dressed in red. The sky above is ablaze with the setting sun as it sets behind the horizon; the wide sweep of clouds are aglow with deep and vibrant reds.

This one is quintessentially you, Lenore, in its flowing lines and colors. And it has the added surprise of a glimpse of a sharp, clear, oasis in a desert stand storm seen but briefly when the wind ceases for just a moment. For me the tiny tree off to the side emphasizes the immensity of the space and give us a sense of scale.

I love the colours and the use of a single tree to break the image up. l/f
