A wonderful reminder of our place in the universe....we sometimes think the world revolves around us, but this reminds me of the grandness of our Earth and our tiny part of it . . this certainly gives a sense of solitude .. . lovely image!.....vf

This is quite an interesting and haunting image, Lenore! So simple, but with so many things to see and appreciate. I love the textures and how each sign and the pole has its own angle decided by its own composite material, the earth on which it was put, weather, drainage, etc. etc. It's an apt metaphor for our lives, I think ...and the title works well with that perspective. l/f/pod for 2/24
